Hello Lovely! Thank you for joining me. I’m so glad to be with you today.
We will be discussing gratitude and thankfulness, let’s begin!
“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)
Be thankful, always. God has done miraculous things in our lives that we ought to be grateful for. On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate you gratitude level? Do you only give thanks for big events like a promotion, or do you also give thanks for the small things such as waking up another day or someone giving you a nice compliment?
God wants to be praised for the good work He does in your life, He wants you to recognize Him every day. He desires to be in constant contact with you through not only the good but the bad as well.

So, be grateful in hardship and struggles, because God wants nothing more than to see you happy and full of life, giving back to others, what He has given to you.
Like a rat in a maze trying to find the cheese- God knows the end game and your destination. He is trying to help you through your maze. When you are struggling to find the right path, be grateful and humble for God will show you the way.
Have you noticed that things start to go wrong every time you praise God for something? You give him thanks for something in your life and are grateful for what He has done. Then, all of a sudden, life hits you like a truck. You know what that is? That is the enemy. He knows you are close to God and have a relationship with Him and that truly bothers the enemy.
You know what is ironic, I’ve been working on this blog since this morning and I am attending a zoom meeting where the topic is Gratitude. How cool is that.
One thing that popped up in the conversation was someone mentioned they use to think that the destination and success was the most important thing in life to be grateful for. Then they realized that its the satisfaction of the small things like taking their child to school and taking care of the house.

There are 2 types of gratitude. The first, is spontaneous gratitude, where you feel so excited and happy than you have nothing else but to show thankfulness. The second is when gratitude is hard and you actively have to try to be grateful. Both are equally important and improve your life and mental outlook. Gratitude is a sneaky and sweeet emotion that pops up when we least expect it. How wonderful gratitude is.
“In every way and in every place, we thank you for all of this.”
Acts 24:3 (NLV)

I hope this post has served you well!
