Hello Lovely! Thank you for joining me. I’m so glad to be with you today.
I am so excited to talk about this topic, it stems from my favorite verse. Let’s dig in!
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 (NLT)
Words cannot describe how this verse makes me feel, but it gives me a sense of hope and belonging to Christ.
Going against the grain is not an easy task. Why would we think that going against societal norms would be a breeze? It’s definitely not. We are but 1 small fish swimming in the opposing direction, meanwhile all the other fish are looking at us like we’re crazy. That is what it is like to be a Christian. We first have to accept that there is a certain way to live out life and then focus on allowing God to transform us from the inside out.
“Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.”
Ephesians 4:22-24 (NLT)
Our past before we came to Christ has been washed away with clean and holy water What is left is the promise of an everlasting life and characteristics that God gave us to better the world. I challenge you to try something new to help others. Or in the least, do something you are already good at for the sake of helping others. Whatever you do, do it with righteousness, grace, love and mercy. The Holy Spirit has fallen upon you, so use it well. God gave us the the spirit of power, love and self-discipline. Are you disciplined in mind, action and soul? I for sure have some more work to do, but the good news is that we are all on the different paths to the same destination. So, I invite you to do it well with me.

Thank you for reading and God Bless you.
Love, Kelley
