We’re All a Little Broken Inside, But We Still Work Fine.

Hello lovely! Thank you for joining me. I’m so glad to be with you today.

I wanted to talk to you about being broken. We are all a little broken inside, but we still work just the same. Being broken, crushed or falling apart means nothing compared to how efficient or effective you are. Trees that fall still give off oxygen, animals with one leg still live, and you with a broken spirit can still survive and thrive.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.

Psalm 34:18 (NLT)

The Lord knows what you’re going through and what you need in life. We feel as if we are falling apart to such a degree that we cannot be helped or mended. This is simply not true. God has the power to change your life, your circumstances, and your mentality. Just allow Him to help you. Tell Him throughout the day that you SURRENDER. Surrender to Him fully and completely.

I’m wanted to tell you a story about a friend who my husband and I got baptized with. Let’s say that her name is Sarah 😉 Well Sarah was walking alongside the beach one day praying for love and support to God. She had been going through a lot of trials and struggles in life. She was feeling down and ashamed, guilty and resentful. As she was walking and talking to God, she found a broken sand dollar and picked it up. She was immediately filled with the Holy Spirit and felt the presence of God. She could hear Him saying to her that broken shells are still beautiful. Therefore, no matter what she was going through, she was still beautiful, worthy, enough and complete in His love.

Like I said above, God knows what you are going through, and only He knows truly what you need in life. It was worthy of repeating. He loves you so much and He does not want to see you in pain at all. The Lord wishes that you would go to Him in all circumstances- whether it be good or bad experiences.

“God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”

Psalm 46:1 (NLT)

We must fall into the arms of the Lord when we have hard times- for He is the answer.

“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”

Phillipians 4:13 (NLT)

He is your rock, your shelter, your first love and your happiness. I promise, if you pour everything into Him, your time, energy, love and truly surrender your life to Him, then your life will drastically change. Believe in Him, as He believes in you.

Thank you for reading and God Bless you.

Love, Kelley
