Hello lovely! Thank you for joining me. I’m so glad to be with you today.
I want us to look at Galatians 6:8-10 for this. I did a verse mapping on Galatians 6:9 yesterday (for my own benefit and study), but I figured we will add the previous and following verses for context, and because there are some good nuggets there. Alright, let’s begin!
“The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”
Galatians 6:8
There are many things in this world that are simply not good for us. These are the things that we should stay away from. I know from my own experience that I do better in life and have better days when they are God focused, and not self-focused.
“Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.“
Galatians 6:9
We are to not lose heart or become tired or discouraged for doing good works, it will pay off in this lifetime and in our lives in Heaven. So, continue todo good things, for you & for others. It pleases the Lord and He will reward you.
“Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.”
Galatians 6:10
So, therefore, do good unto others everyday, in every way. Plant the seeds of happiness, kindness, grace and love not only for others, but for yourself as well. We are to show kindness to all, but there is an emphasis on supporting other believers. Christ calls us to surround ourselves with like- minded believers. This is why going to church is so vital. Our Christian community gives us input and reflection to things we may not know. Community gives us great introspect.

If you don’t like what you are reaping, you had better change what you have been sowing.
