Hello lovely! Thank you for joining me. I’m so glad to be with you today.
I want to bring up the parable of the lost sheep. In John 15:1-7, Jesus tells of a story of a shepherd that has 100 sheep, but one gets lost. Of the 99 sheep that are left, does the shepherd not go out to find the one lost sheep? Of course He does. He knows the 99 sheep are safe, but that one strayed sheep will die if it were not for its shepherd.
This is the same way that God is with a lost sinner with a pen full of 99 “righteous” people. He would much rather go out and shepherd His lost son or daughter in order to save them from themselves and danger. It does not matter where you are in life, what mistakes you have made, or how far down you have gone. God will come to find you, even in your darkest of times. You just need to call out to Him.
God actively seeks out the lost. Are you one of them? He wants nothing more than to be with you. He watches as you stray away from him and everything that He is. Yet, He yearns for you anyway. Are you straying from God? Or maybe you were never with Him to begin with. What can you do today to take a step closer to Him; to desire to be in connection with Him?
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, He will never change- neither will His unfailing love. He has always cared about you, will care about you and will continue to care about you- forever.
So would He leave the 99 to rescue you? You’re darn right, He would.
You might not have repented, yet, but i believe you will once He finds you. You are THAT special.
Thank you for reading and God Bless you.
Love, Kelley
