Intentionality

Hello lovely! Thank you for joining me. I’m so glad to be with you today.

I want to talk about being intentional. We are called to do many things for God, but living intentionally is the key.

“We pleaded with you, encouraged you, and urged you to live your lives in a way that God would consider worthy. For he called you to share in his Kingdom and glory.”

1 Thessalonians 2:12 (NLT)

We are called to live an intentional life as Christ did and bring honor to the Lord.

“Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.”

Ephesians 4:1-3 (NLT)

We are to be intentional in how we treat others. Be KIND, for you never know what someone else is going through. Be PRESENT with the Holy Spirit and allow it to fill you up. Be PATIENT, because God is patient with you and treats you with grave and mercy, so therefore, give grave and mercy to others.

For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance.
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend.
A time to be quiet and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate.
A time for war and a time for peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22 (NLT)

There is a time for everything. Have intention for the things that are needed in that time. If you know you are in a season of serving others, do it gladly with no poor attitude. If your season is to grieve, grieve powerfully but when the time is over, bounce back. Whatever season you are in, do it well.

“If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.”

1 Corinthians 13:1 (NLT)

Love intentionally. Love with a love that is so strong your whole body feels it.

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV)

Be intentional in how you live your life. Be wise, compassionate, kind, gentle and patient and have self-control. The Fruits of the Spirit is how we should live our life.

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT)

Long story short, BE INTENTIONAL. Mean what you do and what you say. Have purpose in your life and live it to the fullest. You can do it. I believe in you.

Thank you for reading and God Bless you.

Love, Kelley
